ABOUT WORLD CUP
World Cup first stage which last two weeks ended yesterday. 32 teams took part in the stage. 10 teams were from America, 13 from Europe, 4 from Asian and 5 from Africa. Half of the 32 teams are taking vacation. whole another half are preparing the next round. Although all of Asian teams have been out, this result is worst one in past 16 years, but they have done their best. I believe they will be better in next World Cup.

This flower name is Peony. It is easy to planting. After that the flower grow up very quickly and easy to take care it. But it drinks too much water and it is so beautiful.
The light pink Peony looks like noble and elegant.
This flower name is Poppy. It has special meaning-----Canadians remember the sacrifices of our veterans and brave fallen in all wars up to the present day in which Canadians took part, each year on November 11: Remembrance Day. Canadians wear the red poppy and observe a moment of silence at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month to honour the sacrifices of over a million brave men and women who have served, and the 110,000 who have given their lives. Canadian medical Lt. Col. John McCrae composed the poem "In Flanders Fields" in 1915; it is often recited on Remembrance Day;
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved, and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fiel
The article is from -----Discover Canada (page 22).
In right side the flower name is Iris. I have difference colour from my teacher Mrs Wald ( white, yellow, purple with white, yellow with brown so on).
The Iris is French's national flower, and stylized version of the flower is used for the country's insignia and national emblem.
This flower's name is Ranunculus, it was gone because it was annual growth.

My son is coming back home this weekend. He drinks a lot of pops. So I deside to search deals about beverage on save.ca.
First, I got one deal from Metro. It said 2 box of Coca-cola or Canada Dry soft drinks(24 cans total) for $9. So it is 38cent/can.
Then, I got another deal from Wakmart. 24-pack of Coca-cola or Pepsi (cola only) for $6.97(29cent/can).
Finally, Shoppers offers 12 cans of Coca-cola or pepsi beverages(all kinds of beverages form these comanys) for $3.3(28cent/can).
So, clearly, Shoppers has the beat price and broader choice. Also, since all drinks are from Coca_cola and Pepsi, I belive they have same quality. However, I am not going to buy it, because those things are not healthy.

About Fundraising
Dear Jennifer,
My teacher shown us the e-mail witch about you are trying to raise money and goods for Syrian people. I was shocked when I heard the life condition of Syrian people. My family is not that rich but still I have a much better life then the people in Syrian. I am going to try my best to help these people as I can. Although, I cannot let these people get rid of the life such as facing war and living in a misery everyday, I wish I could, at least, make one person to see the hope of peaceful future.
best,
Feng

Toronto Reference Library 3 The Systems
Look these books of history of different countries. The French Century, its call number 944.08 is depended on Dewey Decimal Classification. In China, we use Chinese Library Classification (CLC) The French Century's call number should be K504.
Toronto Reference Library 2 The Books and People
I entered the picture. My teacher and my classmates had already been there. A librarian was instructing. We followed the librarian to the fourth floor, she told us about English learning books, and I asked her which books can be borrowed. She replied me that what kinds of books which can be borrowed were depend on there book-labels.
Toronto Reference Library 1 The Picture
I went into the Toronto Reference Library. Wow! There was a huge picture in front of me. This was the picture of red and white-----white bookshelves and red carpets in bright light. Two tan sightseeing elevators which were busy up and down and green plants scattered everywhere made the picture even more colourful.

IEP CONFERENCE
Although I did not attend IEP but I have read some blogs which my classmate wrote about the conference. Mehran rezvanl said the conference was regarded as one of the most innovative and respectful events for international educated professional newcomers finding their jobs. Salim Shamal, as he wrote, arrived there very early, he got a lot of flyers and heard so much about Marketing and Advertising, related professions section of Engineering, he said there were jobs opportunities in Alberta especially Calgary. I guessed he wanted to go to Calgary maybe. Anyhow, I have known some about IEP conference from their blogs.
Thanks my classmates and my teacher Joseph Ng!

Visit the University of Toronto
Today's the weather was crazy ---cold and windy. But I was very happy because I had a nice trip towith my classmates. when I was walking on this campus, I was warmed by the long history, The accumulation of culture, The fusion of ancient and modern, I was so excited I saw the different colleges and libraries. Although I couldn't fully understand what the tourist guide said, but I felt good and I wanted to say: "It is a famous university on the world. There are advance facilities and excellent teachers. So this school cultivates a lot of super talents." If the time could go back 30 years, I would, , ,
